30 tons of Longshan kudzu powder exported to Japan

Workers were loading 30 tons of kudzu powder onto trucks in Longshan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture on January 16, which would be transported to Shanghai and then exported to Japan. This was the first foreign trade export order in Longshan County in 2024, achieving export earnings of 300,000 US dollars.


 
The exported products were produced by Qixing Kudzu Food Co., Ltd. The company, established in 1999, is mainly engaged in the cultivation of kudzu, processing and export of kudzu powder, as well as the R&D, production, and sales of kudzu powder series food. It is the largest foreign-related enterprise in Hunan Province to export kudzu powder products.

The company has obtained a self-operated import and export license. Its kudzu powder products have reached the testing standards of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China with the unique traditional producing technique of the Tujia ethnic group and advanced foreign technology, and have been exported to countries such as Japan and South Korea for more than 20 years.


 
The “Li Xin” brand kudzu powder and kudzu noodles have won the gold medal at the Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo three times, as well as the gold medal at the first Ecological Organic Selenium-rich Agricultural Products Expo in the Wuling Mountain area (Western Hunan).

Kudzu root has 13 types of flavanoids. It has obvious therapeutic effects on toothache, oral ulcers, sore throat, headache, herpes, hangover, prostatitis, etc. and special effects on hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, diabetes, etc. It is recognized as healthy and green food.
